Dani Dull
Hi! My name is Dani Dull and I’m an Illustration major at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York.
I’ve loved art ever since I can remember, it’s always been an integral part of who I am. I grew up in a suburb of Youngstown, a small city in Northeastern Ohio where the history is rich and the communities are tight knit. Art wasn’t a priority for most in small town Ohio, but for my parents it was. They always made sure to push me to pursue any opportunity I could get to gain experience and exposure. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their constant support and confidence in me, I owe them the world.
I love all different mediums and methods of creating art, but my favorites are on procreate (digital,) and oil paint, (traditional). You can probably see that most of my pieces were created with one of these two. I also have quite the knack for filming and video editing, (that is when it comes to more short-form comedy or commentary videos, like sketches and video essays you’d see on youtube.
Outside of traditional and digital art I also specialize in nail art as well as hair and makeup. I like to think of everything as a blank canvas that needs to be filled, even me!
